Job Responsibilities:

Collection and Processing of Field Samples during disease outbreak of Newcastle disease virus (Poultry farms), Infectious
bursal disease (Poultry farms), Foot and mouth disease (Cattle farms), Lumpy skin disease virus (Cattle farms), Fowl
Cholera disease (Poultry farms).
Isolation, Identification and molecular characterization (PCR, RT-PCR, Sequencing) of local isolates (virus and bacteria).
Culture and maintenance of primary cell line (Chicken Embryo Fibroblast Cell Line, Chicken Kidney Cell Line) and
secondary cell line (Vero, MDBK, MDCK, BHK-21).
Propagation and harvest of bacterial and viral antigens including low pathogenic Avian Influenza virus (H9N1), Infectious
Bursal disease virus, Lumpy skin disease virus, Foot and mouth disease virus, Avian Infectious Bronchitis virus, Newcastle
disease virus (Lasota strain and F strain) in avian embryo and cell line.

Formulation screening, excipient selection, adjuvant selection, recipe development for Freeze-dried and oil adjuvanted
Inactivated vaccine.

3. Analytical Method Development:

Development and validation of different analytical methods to ensure quality vaccine that is Safety and Immunogenicity
and In-process stability. Perform batch analysis including batch potency (antigen contents, virus titer by HA, EID50),
serology (HI Antibody Titer, ELISA Antibody Titer) and vaccination challenge study (PD50), Identification, Physical and
chemical test, pH, Water content, determination residual free formaldehyde and preservative limit test, Bacteria and
Fungi, Mycoplasma, residual live virus/bacteria and extraneous agent test.

Preparation of stability study protocol and conducting stability study of developed vaccine at different formulation and
different parameter conditions.

To prepare the specification as per the guidelines.
To ensure calibration of R&D equipment as per schedule.
To ensure the installation, qualification, and validation of new instruments in the R&D laboratory.
To prepare STP, SOP, AWS, and Logbook required for new products, equipment, and processes.
To prepare method validation protocol.
To conduct analytical method development.
To perform the activities for seed development.
To perform the activities for isolation, identification, and characterization of the challenge
organism.
To perform molecular and serological testing of active raw materials, finished products, and
R&D samples received at R&D laboratory.
To maintain the working standard and reference standard.
To perform lab trial (safety, efficacy, and purity) for development of a quality standard
product.
To ensure data integrity in the laboratory.
To perform stability study of developed product.
To perform other duties as per the direction of her supervision or higher management.
